Days Of Summer

This is the first summer I’ve spent away from home. As the sun set outside my window last night and that awesome orange glow lit my room, I began to get really nostalgic. You know those moments that make you want to cry in a good way? It made me realize how far I’ve come, how much I’ve changed, and how great I feel. Of course I miss not being able to play soccer, and my family, and my friends that got me through high school but then I remembered something someone told me. BE CONTENT. I can truly say, then and there, that I was. I still am. I am content. The future is exciting, the past was a blast but there is nothing better than now. From now until I go home, I know a lot is going to happen and I want to say thank you to those of you who read these posts. You’re a part of the journey, we are living and learning.
